My Quotes Feature and Dropbox Storage
If you use our “My Quotes” feature, we collect and process limited information to generate and manage your quotes.
- Information collected: Quote content you create (e.g., product details, dimensions, pricing inputs, totals, number of locations), basic identifiers to associate quotes with your account (e.g., Shopify customer ID and email), and system timestamps.
- How we store quotes: We use Dropbox as a storage backend. For each quote, we store a print‑ready HTML file and a small JSON metadata file (e.g., quote ID, quote name, dates, summary figures) in our Dropbox App Folder. We request only the minimum Dropbox permissions needed to upload, read, list, delete these files and, if you request, create a shareable link for viewing/printing a quote.
- Access and sharing: Quotes are accessible through your “My Quotes” page when you are signed in. If a shareable link is generated, anyone with that link may view the quote content. You can delete quotes within your account or contact us to request link disablement.
- Retention for quotes: We retain quote files until you delete them via your account or request deletion. We may retain minimal system logs for a limited time for security and troubleshooting. We do not store payment information in Dropbox.
